Here is an easy and delicious recipe that Paul loved to prepare with me.
This tart is made of a shortbread crust, vanilla whipped cream & fresh fruits! It is much more easier to do than it looks and everyone loved it 🙂
Ingredients for 8 persons
- For the Shortbread crust
- 250gr of flour
- 125gr of non refined sugar
- 100gr of unsalted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 organic lemon zest
- For the whipped cream
- 150gr of fresh full fat liquid whipping cream
- 2 pinch of vanilla powder
- 15gr of ice sugar
- Fresh fruits
- 400gr of strawberries
- 125gr of raspberries
- 125gr of blueberries
- 125gr of blackberries
- Few leaves of mint
Action
- Make the shortbread crust
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- Mix together butter, flour, egg, non refined sugar & lemon zest
- Press into the bottom of a tart pan
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until lightly golden brown
- Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before filling
- Make the vanilla whipped cream
- Make sure the cream is very cold before starting
- Pour whipping cream, sugar and vanilla into a bowl and whisk on high speed until medium to stiff peaks form
- Fill the tart
- Once the dough is completely cool, fill it with the whipping cream
- Add fruits randomly
- Add few leaves of mint on the top
